Course Profile

This UGC recognised Career Oriented Course, was introduced in the year 2009 as a 6 month certificate course. However, owing to the steady increase in the number of students opting for the course, in the year 2012, this six month certificate course was upgraded to a one year Diploma course. At present, the college is running a six month certificate course, which can be upgraded to a One Year Diploma Course. The programmes are designed to be market oriented and skill enhancing and the syllabus incorporates: Field Trips to sensitize students to the ground realities of the industry
Teaching of soft skills with an eye for the industry
Two week practical training in tourism related sectors

Objective:

The Tourism industry, unlike many other industries, is a composite of several service providers who are generally in the private sector. These service providers are in fact the back bone of the industry and it is therefore imperative to train the concerned stake holders the required skills so as to ensure a flourishing industry tempered with a sense of responsibility. Our endeavour during this one year period is to ensure that our students are equipped with skills to excel in the industry, making them employable, while simultaneously working towards a conventional degree.
