LKC :: Human Rights Nodal Centre

The Lady Keane College, Shillong, had set up a Human Rights Nodal Centre in the College Campus with the following aims and objectives.

Objectives

To sensitize students in particular and community in general on Human Rights related issues.

Aims

Imparting various Human Rights related issues through programmes like

Awareness Programmes
Workshops and Seminars
Conduct Survey on violation of women's rights, child's rights and rights of the differently-abled
Taking up social and economic issues

Smt. Theilin Phanbuh, Chair Person, Meghalaya State Commission for Women inaugurated the Human Rights Nodal Centre on the 14th June, 2014.

The Motto
