Over the years, Counselling as a programme in the college had always been carried out by way of guiding, mentoring and exhorting students. However, at a formal level the Career & Counselling Cell was started in 2007 under the umbrella of the Students Cell.

Members in the Cell include the Coordinator, Dr.(Miss) Riolinia Jones Nongrum, a teacher in-charge, Shri K.L.Chaudhury, and a Counsellor, Dasuklanglin Majaw
